We immediately thought of a return trip to Springbrook when our plans changed. We altered it from the central-Australia trip to the coastal-Australia route, meaning Springbrook was right along our path. Back in October, we visited for a few hours, but we knew it deserved more time. Luckily, we were able to score a (great!) camping spot and spend a full twenty-four hours in the National Park. That night marked our eighth consecutive night with rain, but it didn’t stop us from having a lot of fun trekking through the mud to see waterfalls, crazy bugs, and beautiful geological wonders.
